James C. Hassell, Owner

The owner of Pecan Lakes Golf Club is Mr. Jim Hassell. He is originally from Rusk, Texas, but has lived in Navasota for fourteen years. He has five children, four sons and a daughter; and he is also the proud grandfather of eight. He began playing golf in 2001, after the completion of Pecan Lakes. He thoroughly enjoys the game and is improving with each passing day. Mr. Hassell�s goal for Pecan Lakes Golf Club is to create the most affordable golf opportunity possible for every level of golfer while providing premier playing conditions.

Chad J. Barrum, Head Golf Professional

Pecan Lakes� Head Golf Professional is Chad Barrum. He is originally from Huntsville, Texas but now resides in College Station where he and his wife met while attending Texas A&M University. He entered the PGA program in 2000 and began as the Head Golf Professional at Pecan Lakes in December of 2002. He came to Pecan Lakes from Pebble Creek Country Club after serving four years there as first assistant. He is the proud father of two daughters and a son, and is extremely excited about being at an outstanding new golf course. He is also the holder of Pecan Lakes� course record with a score of 64.

Casey Rodriguez, First Assistant

Casey is a native of Navasota,TX, the host town of our beautiful golf course. He now attends Texas A&M University folloing an excellent carreer as a high school golfer. Reaching state as a medalist in his sophomore campaign as well as his senior year.
He now proudly fathers a new boy and looks forward to graduating in 2010.
