The owner of Pecan Lakes Golf Club is Mr. Jim Hassell. He is originally from Rusk, Texas, but has lived in Navasota for fourteen years. He has five children, four sons and a daughter; and he is also the proud grandfather of eight. He began playing golf in 2001, after the completion of Pecan Lakes. He thoroughly enjoys the game and is improving with each passing day. Mr. Hassell's goal for Pecan Lakes Golf Club is to create the most affordable golf opportunity possible for every level of golfer while providing premier playing conditions.
